CoRe mapping

The CoRe maps web site was created to serve as a tool kit for those interested in concept maps, which also go by the names of mind maps, semantic websconceptual graphs and other similar combinations.

What you will find here is information on what they are and how they are used in various disciplines. You can also read more on how to apply them, making use of both paper and software approaches to mapping given their multi-faceted and versatile nature. The CoRe map website is meant as a broad overview of what is available mainly on the web, but also refers the reader to other sources, that include research in the fields of cognitive psychology, education |, business|, and knowledge representation & knowledge management. Some of the material is presented in more depth in some sections than in others. Since this is a first attempt at presenting a comprehensive and broad overview of what is out there,  the time frame allotted for this project, along with our specific field expertise (see the "contact" section) has made it impossible to weigh each section equally.  As we plan to make this site an ongoing endeavour adding to it as time and information becomes available, you may want to check in periodically for updates. Meanwhile please let us know what you think on our message board.
